I have a similar question as Charles, I live in Shippensburg, we always seem to get skirted by weather events, and its not even snow in general, it happens with storms as well. Why is this?

So, I'm 45 minutes north of Harrisburg, and the forecast on the app and twc app states 3-6 inches, but you're 5:00 update says 1-3 inches north of Harrisburg. What am I to believe
Not interested in Juan Pablo. I'd rather hear about the snow tomorrow. I don't know if this snow will enable me to go to work and come home safely with the very unreliable bus system here in Harrisburg.
Are there many live streaming webcams around? I have one on my weather website but wondering about others. Those ON WU are static, updated periodically. Neat to watch and see where the snow is..
Why are you the only station forecasting 3-6" below the turnpike? The guidance suggests 4-8 with all other stations plus advisory saying 4-8". GFS supports around/less than a half inch or rain with a ratio of 15:1 gives you 4-8". You're going to get some mad people
When is the snow going to really start to fly? I drive truck and have to go to Lorton, Va then south from there, From what I have seen they are calling for 4 to 8" as well
eric... im very confused in your call (this is especially for areas in york/adams/lanc). i have been studying /following weather since i was 6 i was accepted to psu main but backed out. almost all data is pointing to a slight northwest shift and increase in the qpf. since this moring this has been going on. even the srefs are increasing qpf. with temps likely not getting above 20-24 (likely even lower) throughout duration of event and snow growth favorable even .25-.50 of qpf will yield 4-10 inches. and the kicker is most modeling is showing .40-.75 of qpf for areas south of turnpike. so i am blow away by your confident 3-6 call ?
