Hi abc27 weather team! As I am fully fed up with this winter,I just wanted to say this: I'm no meteorologist, but what I don't understand is why all the hype with these storms? I know that temps, timing and location all factor into forecasting, but,it seems like this part of the country freaks outwayway too much. I'm originally from Ohio ,Midwest storms are nothing to mess with.
Can you explain Eric's comment that we will get MORE ice and freezing rain even though actual overnight lows are heading lower than predicted?? I would have thought that you would be predicting more snowfall and less freezing rain ...
I just want to add that I totally respect each of you meteorologists at ABC 27! I think you all ROCK and are the only ones I watch. You have a hard job to do and you all do your best! So keep up the good work!
Not a question, but just a thank you for all of your hard work trying to figure these storms out for us and keeping us updated. I'm sure it can't be easy and you guys get a lot of flack but what you do is appreciated.
I just want to say thank you for all you do to help us prepare for storms! Your job is not easy and people who don't know all that goes into your job jump too quickly to blame if there is too little or too much more than predicted! ABC27 has always had the best meteorologists!
2 questions, first off, for the snowfall maps, like the one for this storm, how can there be such a sharp cut off line from one amount to the other. For instance the 3-6 has a big "underbelly" going on it. Also, why don't you guys run precisioncast hardly anymore.
Want to say, I was disappointed when chuck went on to other things, do you guys turn to Chuck for advice since his years of experience and knowledge of big storms, winter or spring in our area. Eric, fantastic job, I speak for many others you are the new great Weatherman of Harrisburg, really hope you stay here for a long time.
