"Positional irregularities"...heartbeat rhythm, lightheadedness, headache... occur after transitioning from back to lying on right or left side or stomach. Did not show up on halter monitor testing.

My husband takes Plavix with no bruising. I take Effient and always have bruises; sometimes the bruise is small, but then it gets larger. Could I switch to Plavix and have the same protection, minus the bruising?

My mom has been smoking for 30+ years. Of course I'm worried about her lungs, but I'm also worried about the condition of her heart. Have you seen hearts of serious smokers? What effects does smoking have on the heart?
