My daughter was born with a disproportionate jaw- not sure how to describe this properly, but it was misaligned. One of the procedures mentioned was a mandibular bone lengthening to fix her jawbone. How successful could this possibly be? I was doing some online research and some patients who underwent this did not look that drastically different.

Hi, Dr. Dias. My child was taken to another provider and was diagnosed with "meningocele." He was previously asymptomatic, but now he is having problems with controlling his bladder and ofter tells me he gets these "pins and needles" sensations. Can you give me some insight as to what might be going on? Thanks!

You mentioned in your Good Day PA segment that concussions are something to worry about. As a kid, I probably had a million concussions- should I be worried?

My son has TCF and we have had some airway issues with him and some hearing loss. We are in treatment but is there any advice you would have, are these conditions curable

My husband was in a car wreck and had an injury to his spine. He's had surgery to correct the problem, however, he now has a large lump near his spine. What could this be? It feels hard to touch, has become a bit red, and it's about the size of a golf ball.

I have twin sons. One was diagnosed with spina bifida, and the other is completely fine. Could my son who has no conditions develop something later on in life?

I get these headaches that start at my eyebrows n goes up the back of my head n down thru my neck n I'm not sure if they could be migraines r somethin else

Hi Dr. Dias, My grandson has hydrocephalus (multi-oculated) I think that's the correct term - probable cause was undetected meningitis when he was 2 mos. old, after many surgeries he now has 4 shunts and has finally stabilized. I'd never heard of hydro until his illness, he's treated @ PS Hershey and the care is wonderful. I'm just curious as to how many hydrocephalus cases are treated at PSH Childrens Hospital? Thank you

My husband and I adopted a beautiful little eight year old girl. She loves to play and be outside, but recently we've noticed some things that lend us to believe that issues of her abusive past were true. When she was young, our daughter was abused (shaken baby syndrome). Now, she is having some neurological issues that mess with her motor skills. For example, she has issues sometimes controlling movement in her arms. I want to have her checked out. What do you think is going on? Can shaken baby syndrome affect someone years later?

Good Afternoon, my son was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation at the age of 5. He was getting very bad headaches, causing him to throw up. I took him to the ER and ran scans. Over the past 6 years he has lived through the headaches until recently. He has experienced headaches lasting days with numbness to the arms and legs and trouble swallowing. He has also made mention that as long as he is completely still the pain subsides. He was referred from his Dr. to start seeing Peds Neurology again, however they do not have an opening for a couple months. My concern is that the headaches are no longer just headaches and they are lasting longer. Should this be cause for concern?
